Additionally, the camera is capable of AI-powered intelligent recognition for human and vehicles, allowing for automatic tracking of moving objects. When paired with Yangda’s UAVs, the camera enables “Fly by camera” functionality, enhancing operational flexibility. 3KM rangefinder
The high-performance laser rangefinder employs an advanced calculation algorithm to precisely measure distances up to 3000 meters and obtain target coordinates. With a 1535nm wavelength and ±2 meter accuracy, it can reliably identify vehicles and humans even in challenging environments. This feature plays a crucial role in drone patrol and inspection missions, allowing operators to quickly mark and share suspicious target locations with supervisors. Additionally, drones can autonomously track targets based on the given coordinates, ensuring continuous real-time monitoring and accurate surveillance.

Thermal imager
The high-performance thermal lens delivers clear thermal imaging with a 640×512 resolution, 35mm focal length, and a 25Hz refresh rate for smooth and stable visuals. Users can select from three color palettes and enhance image details with 4x digital zoom, making it an ideal choice for precision monitoring in nighttime conditions.

3-axis gimbal
The Storm Eye-20IE-MK camera features a 3-axis gimbal, enabling full 360° rotation in the yaw direction with ±0.02° accuracy. It supports a pitch range from +45° to -164° with minimal angle jitter of ±0.01°, significantly enhancing its precision in target tracking.

AI recognition and tracking
The Storm Eye-20IE-MK camera utilizes advanced cross-correlation, intelligent tracking, and target reacquisition algorithms to enable AI-powered automatic detection of people and vehicles. This ensures continuous and stable object tracking on both the daylight zoom camera and thermal imager, delivering precise surveillance in any environment.

Fly by camera
With the camera’s radar rangefinder and real-time UAV integration, the “Fly by Camera” mode allows Yangda drones to autonomously orbit moving targets. This feature is essential for search and rescue, surveillance, and inspection tasks, ensuring continuous tracking and improving efficiency in dynamic environments.

Monitor target movement status via GCS
The pilot can use the LAUNCH GCS to track the target’s movement, including real-time updated GPS coordinates, the distance between the target and the drone, and the distance between the target and the HOME position.

Fast deploy and simple gimbal control
The 3-axis EO/IR drone gimbal features the YDPORT quick attach and release system, making installation fast and easy. It also supports S.bus, TTL serial port, and Ethernet connections. With YDlink gimbal control software, operating the gimbal is straightforward and user-friendly.

MAVLINK compatible
The Storm Eye-20IE-MK drone gimbal is compatible with drones powered by PX4 and Ardupilot, making integration quick and easy.
