Luminix Sky Whale Max Electric Heavy Lift VTOL Drone

Luminix Sky Whale Max Electric is a fully electric heavy-lift VTOL drone designed for LiDAR mapping, long-distance cargo delivery, transportation, and security surveillance. It features four lift motors and two fixed-wing motors, allowing it to take off vertically like a quadcopter. Once it reaches a certain altitude, the drone transitions to horizontal flight as a push-prop fixed-wing aircraft.

Heavy-lift and long-endurance
The Sky Whale Max electric VTOL drone can fly for 4 hours with a 2kg load and 2 hours with a 15kg load.

Separate camera bin
The Sky Whale Max electric UAV comes with a dedicated compartment for mounting the gimbal camera, allowing it to search for targets using the onboard camera even when carrying heavy payloads.

Weatherproof
Thanks to its waterproof design on the fuselage, the Sky Whale Max Electric VTOL drone is weather-resistant with an IP55 rating. This means the waterproof VTOL aircraft can perform urgent tasks, such as search and rescue, even on rainy days.

Fast deploy
The fixed-wing UAV uses the most advanced quick-detach technology on both the airframe and cable connectors, making assembly and disassembly much easier.

No piloting skills needed
The LAUNCH ground control software used by the Sky Whale Max Electric VTOL drone is designed for beginners, so even pilots with no flight experience can easily operate the drone.

Working day and night
The Sky Whale Max Electric VTOL drone is equipped with onboard aviation lights, making it easy to identify in the air, especially at night.

Built-in TOF landing assistance
The landing is smooth and safe with the help of a range detection radar device.

Compass calibration-free (differential GPS)
The pilot doesn’t need to calibrate the compass on the Sky Whale Max Electric VTOL UAV, saving a lot of time during emergency missions. Also, since the compass has been replaced by DGPS, the fixed-wing VTOL is no longer affected by surrounding electromagnetic interference (EMI), greatly enhancing its flight stability.

Fly by camera (optional)
This surveillance VTOL drone can track and monitor a stationary or moving target along a routine patrol route with its onboard zoom camera. Additionally, the target’s coordinates can be copied and shared with the command center. Once monitoring is complete, the VTOL drone can return to its original patrol route.

Monitor target movement status on GCS (optional)
The pilot can use the LAUNCH GCS to track the target’s movement status, including real-time updated GPS coordinates, the distance between the target and the drone, and the distance between the target and the HOME position.

Follow Me feature (optional)
Sometimes, the flight platform, such as a boat or vehicle, needs to move after the drone takes off to complete a mission. In such cases, the drone must be able to follow the moving flight platform and land once the task is completed. This feature is especially useful when the VTOL drone is conducting surveillance or monitoring missions at sea.
