The Luminix Sky Whale heavy-lift electric VTOL drone is specially designed for LiDAR mapping, long-distance cargo delivery, and security surveillance. Compass calibration-free (differential GPS)
The pilot does not need to calibrate the compass on the Sky Whale VTOL UAV, saving a lot of time during emergency missions. Moreover, the fixed-wing VTOL is no longer affected by electromagnetic interference (EMI) since the compass has been replaced with DGPS, greatly improving flight stability in the air.

Fly by camera (optional)
This surveillance VTOL can track and monitor a stationary or moving target along a routine patrol route as long as the onboard drone zoom camera follows it. Additionally, the target’s coordinates can be copied and shared with the command center. After completing the monitoring, the VTOL drone can return to its original patrol route.

 Monitor target movement status on GCS (optional)
The pilot can use the LAUNCH ground control system (GCS) to track the target’s movement status, including real-time updated GPS coordinates, the distance between the target and the drone, and the distance between the target and the HOME position.

Sometimes, a flight platform like a boat or vehicle needs to move after the drone takes off to complete a mission. In this case, the drone must be able to follow the moving flight platform and land after the task is finished.
